Canines for Kids

Canines for Kids

I met Kristin Hartness Law with Canines for Kids at the Ehlers Danlos National Foundation conference last year.   She talked with us about how a service dog could assist with the daily challenges that kids with EDS have, and I started to get excited about how a service dog could change my life.  She then helped us find the right group to work with, which is how we found PAALS.  I'm very thankful to have met her and for everything that she does to help kids with disabilities.

As if all that weren't enough, I recently applied for a Canines for Kids Scholarship to assist with the cost of my service dog (it costs between $22,000 and $29,000 for PAALS to raise and train a service dog).  I have just found out that Canines for Kids is donating $1,000 to PAALS for my service dog!  I can't thank them enough!

Check out Canines for Kids website at - they are an amazing organization.
